Detailed description of the motor

 

1. Brushless DC (BLDC) motors overcome the need for mechanical commutators by changing the motor structure. The windings become the stator and the permanent magnets become part of the rotor. Brushless DC motors are widely used because electronic commutation replaces the brush friction mechanism on traditional commutators to power the windings in the DC motor armature. Compared to traditional DC motors, electronic commutation provides higher efficiency, 20% to 30% higher for motors operating at the same speed and load.
