The reduction ratio of the miniature deceleration motor determines the speed reduction of the output shaft. For example, if the deceleration ratio is 1:10, then the speed of the output shaft will be 10 times slower than that of the input shaft, and the torque will be 10 times greater than that of the input shaft. This makes miniature deceleration motors an ideal device for small torque output but low speed.

The conventional encoder does dual channels by default, which can calculate the speed and rotation direction. If there is no need to detect the rotation direction, save the cost, you can be customized to do a single channel.
