How to choose flat bldc motor

 

In the electric toothbrush industry, the magnetic levitation motor is mostly used. There are two sets of electrodes composed of coils, and the vibrator (connecting rod of the brush head) is between the two sets of electrodes. By changing the control signal, an alternating current is generated, and the direction and strength of the magnetic field are changed, so that the vibrator swings between the plates at a high speed. Main advantages: Because the vibration connecting rod is suspended in the middle, it is also called a magnetic levitation motor. The physical friction is reduced, and the vibration part is only the connecting rod, the vibration of the fuselage is very small, the noise is very small, and the palm will not be numb due to the vibration of the fuselage;

The vibration direction only has a single linear direction of +X-X, so it is also called a linear motor.

Since the vibration connecting rod is controlled, and the energy of the entire vibration part is concentrated on the brush head part, the brushing effect can be optimized. Its disadvantage is that the cost is higher than that of ordinary eccentric motors.
