VSD's Coreless Micro DC Motor

 

VSD offers Coreless Micro DC Motors, which are the industry's leading choice for their excellent performance and wide range of applications. Our products cover two series, brushed and brushless, to meet different customer needs. Self-adhesive enameled wire is used as the core material of the motors, the coils can be bonded and molded after heating or solvent treatment, and the winding-less core design enables the efficiency to reach a high level of 80%-90%.

 

In response to customers' diverse needs for appearance, VSD supports body customization, including electroplated blue zinc (salt spray test 24H, internal test 36H or more), electroplated colored zinc (salt spray 48H, internal test 72H), nickel plating (elegant appearance, average salt spray effect), electrophoresis/spraying (black, salt spray 48H, complex process), and electroplated zinc-nickel alloy (excellent resistance to salt spray, highest price). In addition, the motor's bearings can also be customized, with options covering oiled bearings, powder metallurgy bearings, and ball bearings, and supporting a wide range of materials: iron-based (hard, wear-resistant, and louder), iron-copper-based (hard, wear-resistant, and a little less loud), and bronze-based (soft, not wear-resistant, and with excellent sound performance).

 

In brushed series, we use high quality brushes to meet different performance requirements, in which we use carbon crystal made in China for normal quality, and imported carbon crystal (such as Fuyong, a Japanese brand) for high quality. For brushless series, our driver boards optimize the control program and electronic components to achieve a variety of functions: current regulation, PWM speed control, CW/CCW forward/reverse rotation control, and FG signal feedback and many other technical supports. Meanwhile, the terminals of brushless motors can be flexibly adapted according to customer requirements to ensure better compatibility.

 

Our Coreless micro DC motors can also be integrated with planetary gearboxes or magnetic encoders for closed-loop control, taking the technical applications to the next level. The motors perform particularly well in systems that require fast response, such as precise adjustment of missile flight direction, fast response of camera autofocus, industrial robot motion, and bionic prosthetics. In toy cars, aeromodels, electric toothbrushes and other commodities that are limited in size, VSD hollow cup motors are also able to fit perfectly, providing customers with efficient and stable power support.
