Ratings Of DC Motors
Leave a message
1. Rated power PN: The mechanical power output on the motor shaft.
2. Rated voltage UN: DC voltage applied to the armature under rated operating conditions. (Example: 110V, 220V, 440V)
3. Rated current IN: The current when the rated power is output on the shaft under rated voltage (shunt excitation includes excitation and armature current).
Rated speed nN: Speed at PN , UN , IN.
4. The speed of the DC motor is generally above 500r/min. The speed of special DC motors can be very low (such as a few revolutions per minute) or very high (more than 3000 revolutions per minute).
Note: For motors without speed regulation requirements, the maximum speed cannot exceed 1.2nN.
