What Should I Do If The Brushless DC Motor's Speed Decreases?

As we all know, using brushless DC motors will result in a number of issues, including a sharp decrease in speed and an increase in temperature. So what should we do if the speed of a brushless DC motor suddenly drops? The particular cause of the speed loss and how to fix it are briefly discussed in the Vshida micromotor that follows.

VBL-7268 (5)

1. Identify and promptly fix an internal short circuit in the motor wire package;

2. Extreme load: Because the brushless motor has a low beginning torque, it will slow down under an excessive load. We merely need to lessen the brushless motor's load;

3. Low power supply voltage: Verify the voltage at the brushless DC motor's input end. Adjust the voltage to a normal value if the voltage is found to be too low;

4. The motor's bearing is low on oil; the bearing is inadequately lubricated and the speed will slow down. In this instance, adding oil to the brushless motor's bearing is all that is required;

5. The cage rotor breaks bars; to discover the broken bar and halt it in time for repair, use a broken bar detector or the iron powder approach while the motor is hot and humming.

6. Incorrect stator winding connection: For instance, if the standard D-shaped connection of the stator winding is changed to a Y-shaped connection, it will impact the DC brushless motor's speed and possibly even the motor itself. As a result, you should pay close attention to the situation and check and fix it.

The situation specific to the micro brushless DC motor's speed decline and its resolution are discussed above. Feel free to contact us if you need further details.
