The surface hardness can achieve HRC45-HRC55 if it is quenched and tempered in accordance with quenching and tempering treatment. It is appropriate for gear boxes that have larger loads.

2. Carburizing steel, including 12Cr2Ni4, 20CrMo, and 20CrMnTi. After being carbureted, this type of steel has a high surface hardness, making it a popular choice for gearboxes that need a large bearing capacity and strong impact resistance.
