Learn how to properly disassemble a diaphragm pump to troubleshoot a diaphragm pump. The following steps will guide you through this process.

1. Before disassembling the diaphragm pump, you need to mark the left and right sides of the air and liquid chambers on the diaphragm pump. This will make disassembly and reassembly easier.
2. Use a tool to loosen the small clamp connecting the outlet tube to the liquid chamber. After removing the outlet tube, you can see the valve ball and seat. Remove the valve ball and seat and check the other parts of the pump for wear, chemical corrosion, cracks, etc.
3. Loosen the small clamp between the inlet tube and the liquid chamber with a tool.

4. Use a tool to separate the liquid chamber from the middle part of the pump and remove the liquid chamber to see the diaphragm and diaphragm clamp.
5. Use a tool or wrench to fix the left and right edges of the outer diaphragm clamp to separate the diaphragm unit from the intermediate, and then loosen the diaphragm unit by turning clockwise. After removing the outer diaphragm clamp, remove the pump shaft from the intermediate.
6. Use a clamp (padded wooden board) to separate the shaft from the diaphragm device and check the pump shaft, clamp and diaphragm for damage and corrosion.
