How to maintain the micro motor?

Long-term use of the micromotor will always result in more or less issues, thus regular motor maintenance is necessary for the micromotor to function normally. But what exactly does routine care for the micromotor entail? Here are some things to look at.

VAP-2701-(5)

1. The motor's starting equipment should regularly clean the contacts, exterior dust, and dirt, look for burn marks on each wiring component, and ensure the grounding wire is in excellent shape.

2. Thoroughly clean the motor and promptly clear the motor base of any debris and sludge. Cleaning the work area once a day is ideal if there is a lot of dust present.

GB37-555SH-(3)

3. Inspection of the insulation state. Since the degree of drying affects the insulating material's capacity to insulate, it is crucial to assess how well the motor windings have dried. The electrical insulation will be destroyed by elements like the aluminum shell motor's working environment and the presence of corrosive gases in the workspace.

4. Inspect and clean the aluminum shell motor's wire terminals, and check to see whether the wiring screws in the junction box are burnt or loose.

VSD-480WA-8513(4)

5. Inspect the transmission mechanism, the pulley or coupling for strength or damage, the installation's firmness, and the condition of the belt and its coupling buckle.
