Protective measures to be taken for DC motors

At present, the operation of many devices will rely on DC motors to complete. So in the process of use, in order to use safety and protect the motor, what protective measures are usually adopted?

1. When the load is too large or the power transistor is burnt due to improper use, a high-power transistor will be used to protect the driver from damage due to the current exceeding the specification.

2. When the load of the flow motor is not small, the energy sent back to the driver by the device end will endanger the driver when it stops rotating, so it is necessary to cooperate with the overvoltage protection circuit and the regenerative energy dissipation circuit to deal with it.
