What are the measures to prevent demagnetization of permanent magnet motors?

As a new type of product that is more efficient, energy-saving and easier to control, permanent magnet DC motors are more and more favored by users. At the same time, extending the service life of DC motors has become the focus of users' great concern. So how to prevent permanent magnet motors from demagnetization? Let's look down.

VEC-2063 (4)

1. Keep the permanent magnet motor working at rated current

When running the permanent magnet motor, pay attention to frequently check whether the transmission is flexible and reliable; whether the concentricity of the coupling is standard; the flexibility of the gear transmission, etc., if any stuck phenomenon is found, it should be stopped immediately to find out the cause and eliminate the fault. run again.

2. Check whether the three-phase current of the permanent magnet motor is balanced

Three-phase AC permanent magnet motor, the difference between any one phase current of the three-phase current and the average value of the other two currents is not allowed to exceed 10%, so as to maintain the safe operation of the permanent magnet motor. If it exceeds, it indicates that the permanent magnet motor is faulty and must be checked. Bright.

3. Check the temperature of the permanent magnet motor

Always check whether the temperature of the bearing, stator, casing and other parts of the permanent magnet motor changes abnormally.

VEC-2248(4)

4. Observe whether the permanent magnet motor has vibration or noise

When running a high-power permanent magnet motor, it is necessary to frequently check whether the anchor bolts, end caps, bearing glands, etc. are loose, and whether the grounding device is reliable.

5. Keep the permanent magnet motor clean

During the operation of the permanent magnet motor, dust, water stains and other sundries are not allowed within at least 3m around the air inlet to prevent inhalation into the motor, forming a short-circuit medium, or damaging the wire insulation, causing a short circuit and burning the motor.

VBL-3650(3)

Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the permanent magnet motor has sufficient insulation resistance and a good ventilation and cooling environment, so that the permanent magnet motor can maintain a safe and stable working state during long-term operation.
