What problems should be paid attention to when using a DC brushless motor?

A brushless DC motor consists of a motor body and a driver, and is a typical mechatronic product. So what problems should be paid attention to when using brushless DC motors? Here's an explanation for you:

1. Before disassembling, check whether the appearance of the brushless DC motor is complete, and then use compressed air to blow off the dust on the surface of the brushless DC motor, and wipe off the dust on the surface.

2. Select the workplace where the brushless DC motor is differentiated to clean up the on-site environment.

3. Understand the structural characteristics and maintenance technical requirements of brushless DC motors.

4. Prepare the special tools and equipment required for disassembly.

5. Load the brushless DC motor for trial operation, check the temperature, sound, vibration, etc. of each part of the brushless DC motor in detail, and test the voltage, current, speed, etc., then disconnect the load and do no-load test experiments respectively. No-load current and no-load loss are measured and recorded.

6. Turn off the power, remove the external wiring of the brushless DC motor and make a record.

7. Use a multimeter to test the insulation resistance of the DC brushless motor to judge the insulation change trend and insulation state of the DC brushless motor, and convert the insulation resistance values measured at different temperatures into the same temperature (usually 75 ℃)

8. After checking all the problems, fix the problems found, reassemble them completely, and run the check.
