one. Ensure the assembly quality. Some special tools can be purchased or made. When disassembling and installing reducer parts, avoid using hammer and other tools; when replacing gear and worm worm, try to choose original parts and pairs; when assembling output shaft, pay attention to tolerance cooperation; use anti-adhesive or red oil to protect hollow shaft to prevent wear, rust or scale, it is difficult to remove during maintenance.

two. The selection of lubricating oil and additives. The gear reducer generally chooses gear oil, for heavy load, frequent start, poor use environment, some lubricating oil additives can be selected, so that the gear oil is still attached to the gear surface when the reducer stops the operation, forming a protective film, to prevent heavy load, low speed, high torque and direct contact between the metal when starting. The additive contains the sealing ring regulator and leakage resistance agent, which can keep the sealing ring soft and elastic, and effectively reduce the lubricating oil leakage.

three. Selection of the installation position of the speed reducer. If the position allows, try not to use vertical installation. When vertical installation, the amount of lubricating oil is much more than the horizontal installation, easy to cause reducer heat and oil leakage.

four. Establish a lubrication and maintenance system. According to the lubrication work "five" principle of reducer maintenance, do each reducer is responsible for regular inspection, found that the temperature rise is obvious, more than 40℃ or oil temperature more than 80℃, the quality of the oil drop or oil found more copper powder and produce abnormal noise phenomenon, to immediately stop using, timely maintenance, troubleshooting, replace the lubricating oil. When refueling, attention should be paid to the amount of oil to ensure that the reducer gets the correct lubrication.
