What Are The Types Of Micromotor Stator Core Slots?
Leave a message
Stators, rotors, and other components make up the majority of micromotors. The stator windings are mounted on the stator core, which is a component of the aluminum shell motor's magnetic circuit. What different stator core slot types are there then? I'll give you a little introduction now.

1. Semi-open slot: Usually used for large and medium-sized low-voltage motors; can incorporate formed windings. When a winding is said to be "formed," it can first be insulated before being inserted into a slot.
2. Semi-closed slot: This design is typically employed in small, low-voltage motors because it has a greater efficiency and power factor but more challenging wiring and winding insulation requirements.

3. Open slot: The insulation method is practical, and it is utilized for inserting and positioning forming windings. Most often, high-voltage motors employ it.

In terms of structure, the stator core of an aluminum shell motor is typically punched and laminated with a sheet of silicon steel that is 0.35 to 0.5 mm thick and has an insulating layer on the surface. Slots are punched in the inner circle of the stator in a uniform pattern to embed the stator windings.
