Why Is The Planetary Gearbox Oil Leakage?

The principle of planetary transmission is adopted, and its compact structure, strong carrying capacity, low noise and long life, so it is widely used. But in the case of long time use, the gearbox will appear oil leakage. The reason is that the pressure in the oil tank rises. In closed reducer, each pair of gear phase engagement friction to heat, according to righteousness's law, with the running time, make the reducer box temperature gradually increased, and the reducer box volume remains the same, so the box pressure increases, box lubricating oil by splashing, sprinkle in the reducer box wall. Due to the strong permeability of the oil, under the pressure of the box, where the seal is not strict, the oil will seep out from where. The unreasonable structural design of the reducer causes oil leakage, such as the designed reducer has no ventilation hood, the reducer cannot achieve equal pressure, resulting in higher and higher pressure in the box, and the phenomenon of oil leakage occurs. Too much refueling, the reducer in the process of operation, the oil tank is stirred very badly, the lubricating oil splashes everywhere in the machine, if the refueling amount is too much, so that a large number of lubricating oil accumulated in the shaft seal, binding surface, etc., resulting in leakage. In the equipment maintenance, due to the removal of the dirt on the combination surface is not thorough, or improper selection of sealant, the direction of the seal, do not replace the seal in time, will also cause oil leakage. There are many seals inside, including the oil seal, the O-ring, etc. These seals play an important role in preventing oil leakage. However, due to the long period of use and the impact of the external environment, the seals will become aging, and if not regularly replaced, it will lead to oil leakage problems.
