Working principle of 55mm outer rotor brushless motor

 

1. Brushless motors use semiconductor switching devices to realize electronic commutation, that is, electronic switching devices replace traditional contact commutators and brushes. It has the advantages of high reliability, no commutation spark and low mechanical noise, and is widely used in recording stands, video recorders, electronic instruments and automatic office equipment.

2. Brushless motor is composed of permanent magnet rotor, multi-pole winding stator, position sensor, etc. According to the change of rotor position, position sensing commutation is carried out for the current of the stator winding in a certain order, that is, the position of the rotor magnetic pole relative to the stator winding is detected, and the position sensing signal is generated at the determined position. After being processed by the signal conversion circuit, the power switch circuit is controlled to switch the winding current according to a certain logic relationship. The working voltage of the stator winding is provided by the electronic switch circuit controlled by the output of the position sensor.

3. Brushless motor with photoelectric position sensor is equipped with photoelectric sensor at a certain position on the stator assembly. The rotor is equipped with a light shield and the light source is a small light bulb. When the rotor rotates, the photosensitive components on the stator will generate pulse signals intermittently at a certain frequency due to the effect of the light shield.
