What are the Basic Parameters of the Micro Motor?

Rated voltage
It refers to the line voltage on the stator winding in volt (V). Generally, the operating voltage of the motor shall not be above or below 5% of the rated value. The power supply voltage should comply with the rated voltage of the motor. The rated voltage of the DC motor is generally 220V, and the DC motor is generally supplied by a separate power supply. When choosing the rated voltage, it usually only needs to cooperate with the power supply. The rated voltage of the ac asynchronous motor is generally 380V or 380V / 220V. The voltage of the single-phase generator is generally 220V and 50 HZ, and the three-phase generator is generally 380V and 50 HZ. When the working voltage is higher than the rated value, the magnetic flux will increase, which will increase the excitation current greatly, and the current is greater than the rated current, making the winding heat up. At the same time, due to the increase of magnetic flux, the iron loss also increases, making the stator core overheat; when the working voltage is below the rated value, the output torque decreases, the speed decreases, and the current also increases, making the winding overheat, which is also unfavorable to the operation of the motor.
Current
1. No-load current refers to the current flowing into the motor under the rated working voltage, rated power supply frequency, rated capacitor, and no-load operation (the output power on the shaft is zero), which is called no-load current. Unit: A or mA. The energy formed by the product of no-load current and voltage is mainly divided into potential energy and thermal energy consumption. Thermal energy is the heating of the motor coil. The better the motor, the smaller the value. Potential energy refers to the energy to overcome friction, the inertia of the rotor itself and the rotational potential energy of the rotor itself. Generally, when the speed is certain, the inertial energy of the rotor increases almost no, and this potential energy mainly overcomes the problem of friction, and eventually dissipated in the form of heat energy, so the smaller the no-load current, the better the performance of the natural motor.
2. Rated current Current of the motor at rated voltage.
3. Start current The current when the motor starts at the rated voltage and rated frequency is generally several times the rated current. Large starting current will cause the fluctuation of power network voltage and affect the normal use of electrical equipment. This parameter is also more important, and the inertia of the rotor is more reflected here. Good motor has a small starting current at the same acceleration.
4. Maximum continuous current refers to the current occurring when there is a reverse external force (if there is a load). General maximum continuous current and voltage product is less than the rated power, not to say that the motor is a loss ratio, but a long time in large current cases such as rated power, can lead to temperature rise, the direct consequence is resistance increase, efficiency, and lead to a decline in overall performance, and may damage the equipment. Working at this value, generally can ensure the normal operation for a long time.
Power
1. Rated power refers to the ideal power of the motor design, which is also the maximum power under recommended working conditions. Rated power is an important index to represent the working ability of the motor. The ratio of output power to input power is expressed by%. The higher the efficiency, the greater the power saving.
2. Maximum output power Maximum output power at the rated voltage. There is a difference between this power and the rated power. This power is often not considered for safety, and it is definitely not a value that can be maintained for a long time, but is often measured at 25 degrees at room temperature. Rated voltage, current and power are the most basic parameters of a motor. The three relations are: power = voltage x current (P=UI).
Speed
1. Rated speed Speed unit is RPM "rpm", in minutes, speed frequency conversion should be noted. Rated speed refers to the speed per minute when the motor works at the rated voltage, capacity and frequency, that is, the motor speed at full load, so it is also called full load speed. For example, a 4-pole motor is marked at 1,450 rpm. The different synchronous speed is 1500 RPM. When the frequency changes and the motor speed decreases, the running current must be reduced to maintain the ventilation and heat dissipation balance.
2. No-load speed Because there is no reverse torque, the output power is different from the blocking rotation situation. This parameter only provides the function of a motor at the maximum speed at the specified voltage.
3. Maximum speed The maximum rotation speed is the maximum output rotation speed of the motor that can be achieved without considering the torque and power output. This parameter is useful for characterizing the speed range and the controller design matching.
Torque
1. Rated torque torque is a kind of torque, torque in physics is defined as: torque = force arm, here the force arm can be regarded as the radii of rotation of the object driven by the motor. If the torque of the motor is too small, it can not take the object to take, that is, the "strength" of the motor is not big enough. Rated torque = rated power / rated speed * Torque constant (9550). 2. Blocking torque This parameter is an important parameter for many motors with load, that is, the torque when the motor is stopped rotating by the reverse external force. If the motor blocking phenomenon often occurs, it will damage the motor, or burn out the drive chip, so this is in the motor selection, in addition to the speed, the first to consider the first parameter. Its unit has cattle rice N.M, kg rice KG.M. Please note that for a long time, the motor temperature rises rapidly, and this value will also drop rapidly.
2. The maximum torque represents the motor can move the maximum load capacity, is also represented by the rated torque multiple, generally in 1.8-2.9 times (1.8-2.2 times) its role, the motor rotation in normal operation, mechanical may occur short time of load, requires the motor in a short time, and turn or turn.
