What is the Opening Flow and Open Flow of the Micro Water Pump?

The opening flow of a micro-pump is also called the "open flow". Its flow rate refers to the amount of water pumped per unit of time, usually expressed by liter / minute or liter / hour. The flow rate is affected by various factors, such as the model of the pump, the speed of the pump, the length and material of the pipe, and so on. Generally speaking, the flow of the micro pump is relatively small, usually between dozens of liters per hour to several hundred liters per hour, but this suggests that it has a more suitable use environment and range.

First, the flow of the micro-pump is related to the technology used. At present, the commonly used technology of micro-water pump is centrifugal pump, gear pump, plunger pump, vibration pump and so on. These technologies have their unique advantages and scope of application, so their flow will vary. For example, the centrifugal pump flow is large for situations requiring high flow; the gear pump has small flow rate, but can withstand high viscosity medium; the vibration pump flow is very small, but provides stable flow and pressure. Secondly, the flow rate is related to the medium used. Different media have different flow characteristics, so it can affect the flow rate of the micro-water pump. For example, a high viscosity medium will reduce the flow of the micro pump, while a low viscosity medium will increase the flow of the micro pump. In addition, the particles in the medium can also affect the flow of the micro pump. When the medium contains large particles, it is easy to block the micro pump, thus affecting its flow. Finally, it is related to the work pressure being used. When the working pressure is lower, the flow of the micro pump changes stox variation and viscous resistance. According to the Stokes formula, the Stokes flow rate decreases as the working pressure decreases; and as the pressure increases, the sticky resistance gradually decreases and the flow rate increases. Therefore, the flow rate of micro pumps will vary under different working pressures.

Whether it is domestic pump or industrial production, the flow of micro pump can meet the related needs. Moreover, due to the use of high efficiency and energy-saving technology, not only can achieve more stable pumping effect, but also can greatly reduce energy consumption and use cost, to create greater revenue and value for users. Generally refers to the water pump, liquid pump, especially the micro pump, micro liquid pump in the outlet without pressure (i. e., not by the valve, nozzle, thin pipe and so on a kind of load resistance, do not need to pump output corresponding pressure to overcome the resistance), namely "exposure", "opening", the pump can provide the maximum flow. It is a miniaturized water pump device, it is widely used in life science, environmental monitoring, medical equipment, equipment and other industries. Its open flow usually refers to the maximum flow of the pump, the maximum amount of water that can be provided at the maximum speed of the pump.

The opening flow rate is closely related to its design and manufacturing. Different manufacturers and models of pump opening flow is not the same, generally between a few hundred milliliters / minute to several liters / minute. Of course, with the development and innovation of technology, the opening flow of the micro pump is expected to be improved to a greater extent in the future. The high open flow rate allows it to consume less time and power to complete the water transport tasks, which is more suitable in some light load situations. In the laboratory, micro-water pumps are widely used in sample delivery, solution mixing, extraction, separation, biological reaction and other aspects, playing an indispensable role.

Once the load exists above, the pump flow will attenuate, not up to the maximum flow. But correspondingly, the output pressure of the pump will also increase, so as to meet the requirements of spray, pressurization, car washing, water circulation, water transfer, lifting, washing and other uses, and is widely used in laboratory, environmental protection, medical treatment and other fields. The general water pump has a flow-pressure curve (also known as the flow-head curve or Q-H curve). They show a similar inverse proportional relationship. For example, for a micro pump CSP24120, the nominal "open flow" is 12L / Min and the maximum output pressure is 2.4 kg, which means that the flow reaches the maximum: 12 l / min (such as no load); rather than the maximum flow of 12 LPM at the maximum output pressure of 2.4 kg.

In the general diaphragm water pump, the flow and output pressure is not the greater the flow, but a similar counterproportional relationship, that is, the smaller the flow, the greater the pressure; the smaller the pressure, the greater the flow; micro pump field, through the flow and head (namely a curve), to obtain the corresponding flow of a pressure, or in turn, the known flow, look at the corresponding pressure, as a reference for system design.
