Are You Using The Right Micro Water Pump?

As we all know, we should pay attention to safety when using micro-pumps, so how should we use micro-pumps safely? Here, Vistar Motors will introduce to you several common methods of using micro-pumps safely.
1. Do not start the machine when the power supply voltage is abnormal
Due to the long low-voltage power supply line, it is often encountered that the voltage at the end of the line is too low. When the phase voltage is lower than 198V and the line voltage is lower than 342V, the speed of the pump motor decreases, and when it does not reach 70% of the rated speed , the start centrifugal switch will be closed, causing the start winding to be energized for a long time and heat up or even burn out the winding and capacitor. On the contrary, the high voltage will cause the motor to overheat and burn out the winding.

2. Install the leakage protector
The leakage protector is also called a life saver. The water pump works underwater. The leakage will cause power loss in mild cases, and electric shock accidents in severe cases. If we install a leakage protector during use, as long as the leakage value of the water pump exceeds the operating current value of the leakage protector, the leakage protector will automatically cut off the power supply of the pump to avoid leakage and waste of electric energy and ensure safety.
3. Avoid frequent switching
Do not switch on and off the micro water pump frequently, because backflow will occur when the pump stops, and if the pump is turned on immediately, the motor load will start, resulting in excessive starting current and burning out the windings. Due to the large current at startup, frequent startup will also burn out the water pump motor windings.

The above are the three common ways to safely use the micro water pump for everyone. You should pay more attention in the process of use, and develop the habit of checking the water pump before use to avoid unnecessary trouble.
