Common speed regulation faults of geared motors

 

1. Poor contact between the brush and the collector ring: improve the contact area between the brush and the collector ring, grind the working surface of the brush, adjust the brush pressure and turn the surface of the collector ring;

 

2. When the winding is wound, the number of turns is too many: rewind according to the correct number of turns;

 

3. The stator and rotor windings have local coils connected incorrectly or reversely: check the faulty coils and make correct wiring;

 

4. Poor contact of the wound rotor brush or starting varistor: Check the contact part of the brush and starting varistor;

 

5. The delta connection of the motor winding is mistakenly connected to a star connection: it can be changed to a delta connection to solve the problem;

 

6. One-phase open circuit of the winding rotor: check the open circuit with a calibration lamp or a multimeter, and remove the fault;

 

7. Power supply voltage is too low: Check the motor input voltage with a voltmeter, and adjust after confirming that the power supply voltage is too low.
