What are the main motor types of micro motor reduction gearboxes?

Micro motor reduction gearbox is a commonly used reduction equipment, also referred to as micro geared motor, currently commonly used micro motor reduction gearbox has the following motor types, the following is introduced for you in turn

1. Miniature DC Geared Motor

A miniature gear reducer is connected to a standard DC motor to form a miniature DC geared motor, also known as a miniature geared motor. The job of a gear reducer is to provide more torque at a lower speed. Different gearbox reduction ratios can provide different speeds and amounts of torque at the same moment. Different industries usually require different DC geared motor power, usually using a custom power design approach.

2. Miniature hollow cup geared motor

Coreless rotors, also known as hollow cup type rotors, are used in miniature hollow cup motors to replace standard rotors with iron core construction. With this unique rotor structure, the power loss due to iron core eddy currents is eliminated. Due to the simultaneous reduction of weight and rotational inertia, the rotor itself loses less mechanical energy. As a result of the change in rotor structure, the motor's operating characteristics have been improved, and in addition to significant energy-saving features, it now has control and dragging capabilities that are unmatched by iron-core motors.

3. Miniature planetary gear motor

Compared with other gearboxes, miniature planetary gearboxes are rigid and highly accurate. They are mostly installed on stepper motors, servo motors and DC motors to reduce speed, increase torque and balance inertia.
