Why do DC motors use DC power?

A DC motor is a motor that can convert electromagnetic energy into mechanical kinetic energy, and the motor must rely on carbon brushes and other structures to continuously convert the position of the switching power supply to produce and convert the electromagnetic field. The inductor is the same as a short-circuit fault under the effect of DC power. If If it gets hot to a certain level, it will be burnt.

1. Compared with the asynchronous motor, the structure of the DC motor is more complicated, the application and maintenance are inconvenient, and the DC power supply is required.

2. The complicated structure limits the further reduction of the volume and net weight of the DC motor, especially the touch of the carbon brush and the drag of the motor rotor causes the mechanical equipment to cause wear and fire. The common faults of DC motors are increased, and the maintenance and maintenance labor is increased.

3. The commutation flame not only causes electrical erosion of the motor rotor, but also an electrical interference signal of a wireless network. That will endanger some of the surrounding electrical equipment. The larger the volume of the motor, the higher the speed ratio. The problem is that it becomes more and more serious. Therefore, the carbon brushes and motor rotors of ordinary DC motors limit the development trend of DC motors to high-speed operation and large space of DC motors.
