How To Dry DC Reduction Motor After Damp?

DC reduction motor can be used in a lot of intelligent products in life, now to the plum rain season it is inevitable that many household products electricity opportunities to be damp phenomenon. At this time, the insulation resistance of the winding will be reduced for reuse, and the high air humidity will even reduce its insulation value to zero. At this time, in order to extend the service life of the motor, the insulation resistance and absorption rate to reach the specified value. Here are some suitable drying methods.

1. Electric welding machine drying method. The series ammeter of DC welding machine shall be DC ammeter. It is convenient to dry wet reduction motor with DC welder, and can dry large, medium and medium DC reduction motor and high voltage reduction motor for a long time. Such welding machine for a long time or large current work, its internal devices will not be damaged due to long time large current work, so can be used for large and medium-sized reduction motor should pay attention to use the two methods when drying, all contact contact good and fastening, welding machine line should use special wire, section size should meet the welding machine output current carrying capacity. Pay attention to the cooling of the welding machine transformer to ensure that the insulation resistance of the DC reduction motor can not be lower than 0.1M. Pay close attention to the winding temperature of the reduction motor and adjust the voltage and current in time. Clean up the appearance of the reduction motor to use a clean cloth or brush to clean up the oil, dust, dirt, dirt and other impurities on the surface of the reduction motor, to ensure that the whole motor surface is dry and clean.

When decompose the reduction motor, remove each part of the reduction motor, such as stator, rotor, end cover, bearing, etc., one by one, and thoroughly clean up the water droplets, oil pollution, particulate matter and other substances attached to the motor. The prepared drying device can be dried using a natural-ventilated drying room, electric oven or grill. It should be noted that when using the oven or grill, first adjust the temperature to the appropriate range (usually 50~70℃), and wait for the temperature to stabilize before the next step. When drying, the disassembled motor parts should be tiled on the drying device, and pay attention to the distance between the parts, to avoid collision, deformation and other situations. According to the size of the motor, the number of parts and the degree of moisture and factors, the drying time is generally 6~12 hours, until each part is completely dry. Finally, all parts of the motor are completely dry, and gradually assembled. Pay attention to the reasonable and correct installation of bearings, sealing device, spring connector, etc., to make them work normally.

2. The external heat source heating method. For the wet reduction motor, first open and check, and then put into the reduction motor, with high-power incandescent bulb baking or put the reduction motor into the drying room drying. This method is simple to operate, safe and reliable, but is only suitable for small reduction motors and easy to remove and check. However, for large and medium-sized reduction motors that are not easy to dismantle and inspect, the workload is relatively large and the feasibility is reduced. It should be noted that during the operation of this method, the bulb or heat source should not be too close to the coil to avoid the coil burning out. The reduction motor housing can cover canvas and other insulation items.

3. The excitation coil drying method. The excitation coil is wound around the stator core of the DC reduction motor, and alternating current is introduced to make the stator produce magnetic flux, and relies on the iron loss drying of the reduction motor stator.
