What are the precautions for disassembling the DC motor?

There are certain safety considerations that must be taken for each component as well as the standard operating procedure when disassembling a DC motor. The safety measures for disassembling the DC motor are shared with you in the following Vshida micromotor.

1. Take out the DC motor's exterior wiring first, making sure to designate it clearly. The motor can then be separated from the transmission system by loosening the foot screw.
2. It's important to take extra care not to harm the stator coil when removing the rotor. If the rotor is light, it can be removed by hand; if it is heavy, lifting equipment should be used to remove it.

3. In order to make it easier to disassemble and remove the pulley or connection from the DC motor shaft, it is occasionally required to add some kerosene to the space between the motor shafts of the pulley.
4. The brush should be removed from the brush holder and the location of the brush's neutral wire marked before disassembling a DC motor with a brush.

5. For motors that include rolling bearings, first remove the outer bearing cover. Then, loosen the end cover's fastening screws, mark where the end cover and base shell meet, and insert the fastening end that was previously secured there. The end cover of the motor is pulled out once the cover's screws are inserted into the two specifically designed screw holes on the end cover.
The five items listed above should be taken into consideration when removing the DC motor. Please feel free to contact us for more details if you need them about the motor.
