What should be paid attention to when using the gear reducer with a micro DC motor?

Gear reducer motor describes the pairing of a gear reducer and a motor. Typically, a reputable reducer manufacturer will integrate and build it, and then it will be delivered as a whole set. The gear reducer and the micro DC motor are compatible,  The precautions for a gear reducer with a tiny DC motor are briefly described below.

1. Torque: The gear reducer's rated torque must be more than or equal to the micro DC motor's rated torque multiplied by the reduction ratio. The chosen reducer is rated if the micromotor's rated torque is 5N.M. and the reduction ratio is 300. More torque than 5 * 300 = 1500 N.M.

2. Speed ratio: also known as the transmission ratio of a gear reduction device, the reduction ratio is calculated by dividing the input speed of a micromotor by the output speed of the gear reducer. For example, if the input speed of the micromotor is 15000 rpm and the final output speed is 300 rpm, then 15000÷300=50, or i=50:1, is obtained.

3. Accuracy: The gear reducer's return clearance is determined by the particular work needs. The input end of the gear reducer will have a tiny angular displacement known as the return clearance when the output end is fixed and the input end is rotated both clockwise and counterclockwise to generate the rated torque 2% torque. The unit for this angular displacement is minutes, which is one-sixtieth of a degree.

4. Specifications: The motor and reducer gear sizes should be comparable, and the diameter of the tiny gear motor is approximately 3mm~38mm.
